Connect Slack
Send SunrAI notifications to selected Slack channels and mapped users.
Connect your Slack workspace, invite the SunrAI app to the channels it should use, and choose notification destinations. SunrAI does not send direct messages to homeowners.
Connect Slack
Open Slack settings
Go to Settings → Integrations → Slack.
Add SunrAI to Slack
Select Add to Slack, choose the intended workspace, and approve the requested access.
Invite the app and choose channels
In Slack, invite @SunrAI to each public or private channel it should use. Return to Settings → Integrations → Slack, refresh the page, and choose a Default channel. You can also choose separate channels for Daily Summary and Storm Digest.
Map your SunrAI users
Review Settings → Integrations → Slack → Users and resolve any users shown as unmapped.
What can appear in Slack
Depending on your settings, SunrAI can post Buddy proposals, AR digests, and daily summaries to selected destinations. The project lookup command is /sunrai project [name].
No shared channel is selected automatically. Choose a Default channel before relying on channel notifications. Direct messages to assigned team members require their SunrAI and Slack users to be mapped.
Troubleshooting
"I don't see a channel in SunrAI." — Confirm that @SunrAI has been invited to the channel, then refresh the Slack integration settings.
"A teammate is unmapped." — Check that their SunrAI and Slack accounts use the expected email address, then review the Users section again.
