A Buddy isn't doing what I expect
Check Buddy settings, project conditions, and recent activity.
If a Buddy suggestion is missing or unexpected, check its settings and the project conditions that trigger it.
Check the Buddy
Check the skill setting
Open Buddies → Roster, select the Buddy and skill, and confirm the skill is enabled. A signal-only setting may show alerts without creating drafts.
Review the trigger
Open the skill details and compare its trigger conditions with the project. A suggestion appears only when the project meets those conditions.
Review recent activity
Open Buddies → Activity and filter by the Buddy to see whether it ran and what it produced.
Check for a recent suppression
A suggestion you suppressed may stay hidden for the period shown in the suppression flow.
Common cases
"I don't see a PTO follow-up." — Check that the project is marked Completed and does not have a PTO date. Then compare it with the follow-up skill's conditions.
"A permit follow-up appeared after I resolved the issue outside SunrAI." — Suppress it with a reason such as Approved offline so the team has context.
"An inspection-preparation suggestion is missing." — Confirm that an inspection is scheduled and review the skill's timing and photo requirements.
