Set up your team
Name your team, add a logo, and invite teammates. Most setups take under 5 minutes.
A team is the unit of access. Every project, customer, and permit belongs to exactly one team.

Steps
Open team settings
From the sidebar, click Settings → Team. You need to be an Owner or Admin to edit team info.
Fill in basic info
Add your company name, city/state, and an optional logo. Logos show up on customer-facing pages.
Invite teammates
Click Invite, paste one or more email addresses (comma- or newline-separated), pick a role, and send. Invites expire in 7 days and can be re-sent.
Confirm the roster
The Members tab should list everyone you invited as "Invited" until they accept. You can revoke pending invites at any time.
Roles at a glance
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including billing and team deletion. |
| Admin | Everything except billing and team deletion. |
| Manager | Edit projects, customers, permits. View team settings (read-only). |
| Member | Edit assigned work. Cannot edit settings or invite others. |
| Viewer | Read-only. Useful for partners or contractors who only need to look. |
Verify it worked
- Members tab shows the right people with the right roles
- Each invited person received an email titled "You've been invited to join <team name>"
- The first invitee can sign in and reach the dashboard
Troubleshooting
"My teammate accepted but doesn't see anything" — They may have landed in a different team by accident. Have them use the team switcher (top-left of the dashboard) to choose your team.
"Invite email says undeliverable" — Their corporate mail filter likely blocked it. Try a personal address temporarily, or ask their IT to allow noreply@sunrai.ai.
