A team is the workspace access boundary. Every customer, project, and operational record belongs to a team.

What you'll learn

  • What the first-run setup flow saves
  • How to invite teammates and monitor delivery
  • Which membership roles are available

Finish first-run setup

The owner or an admin completes setup before entering the team's operational pages.

  1. Confirm company and profile

Confirm the team name. You can also add a team description and your display name.

  2. Review optional integrations

DocuSign and Coperniq are optional during setup. You can skip them and connect supported tools later from Settings → Integrations.

  3. Add workflow notes

Save a short description of your normal handoff or operating process. This step is optional.

  4. Invite teammates

Enter up to 25 addresses, separated by commas, semicolons, spaces, or new lines. Invitations sent from onboarding grant Member access.

  5. Enter the workspace

On the final step, click Enter workspace. SunrAI enters the workspace only after completion is saved successfully.

Update team details later

  • Settings → General — edit the team name, your team profile, and the uploaded company logo.
  • Settings → Branding — edit company identity and contact information.
  • Settings → Team & roles — manage members, pending invitations, roles, and crews.

Invite teammates after setup

Only an Owner or Admin can manage invitations.

  1. Open Team & roles

In the dashboard, open Settings → Team & roles.

  2. Send invitations

Click Invite, enter up to 25 addresses, choose a role, and click Send Invites.

  3. Check delivery

Pending invitations appear below the member list. Each shows its current delivery status when available.

  4. Resend or revoke

Use Resend when delivery failed or the recipient lost the message. Use the trash action to revoke a pending invitation.

The recipient must accept while signed in with the verified email address that received the invitation. The invitation page shows that address in masked form and shows an expiration date when one is configured.

Roles at a glance

Verify it worked

  • Pending Invites shows each newly created invitation and its selected role.
  • Successfully delivered invitations progress through the delivery statuses reported by the email service.
  • After acceptance, the person appears in the member list and can open the team's dashboard.

Troubleshooting

"The invitation is pending but no email was sent" — The invitation record still exists. In Settings → Team & roles, review its delivery status and use Resend after the delivery configuration is corrected.

"The recipient signed in but cannot accept" — Confirm they used the same verified email address that received the invitation. A different account cannot redeem it.

"My teammate joined but opened another team" — Have them choose the intended team from the team switcher in the dashboard sidebar.
