What we do

SunrAI is a cloud-native SaaS platform that replaces the 5+ disconnected tools solar companies use today with one unified system. Our platform covers the full solar lifecycle: customer relationship management, AI-generated proposals, project management from permit to inspection, storm intelligence for proactive outreach, digital presentations, and e-signature contracts.

Every feature is multi-tenant by default, built for teams ranging from 3-person installers to enterprise operations managing hundreds of projects. We charge per seat per month with tiered plans — a straightforward SaaS subscription model.

Our story

SunrAI was founded in 2024 in Chicago, Illinois by Guillermo Villegas and Peter Sarelas. Guillermo brings a decade of experience building AI and SaaS products — most recently as Co-Founder and CPO of Levee, an AI operations platform for hospitality recognized by PhocusWire as a Hot 25 Travel Startup. Peter is the founder of Source Solar, having led nearly 2,000 residential solar installations across the Midwest.

We started SunrAI because Peter lived the pain firsthand: juggling spreadsheets, siloed CRMs, manual proposals, and disconnected project tracking across every installation. Guillermo saw that modern AI — particularly Google Gemini and computer vision — could automate the most time-consuming parts of solar operations. Together, we are building the platform we wished existed.

SunrAI is built on Google Cloud infrastructure and deeply integrated with Google services across the platform:

• Google Gemini AI — Powers our AI assistant, proposal generation, photo inspection analysis, voice transcription, and project summarization
• Google Solar API — Analyzes roof solar potential with satellite imagery for accurate proposal generation
• Google Maps Platform — Address autocomplete, geospatial visualization, and customer mapping
• Google Cloud Storage — Stores field photos, annotated inspection images, and project documents
