Add a customer

Create a single customer record with contact info and address.

Customers are the people who buy your installs. Every project belongs to exactly one customer.

Steps

  1. Click + Add Customer

    Top-right of the Customers page.

  2. Fill in basic info

    Name, email, phone, and primary address are recommended. Only name is strictly required.

  3. Optional: tag and source

    Tags help with filtering later. Source ("referral", "ad campaign Q2", etc.) is reportable.

  4. Save

    The customer is created and you're returned to the list, with the new row highlighted.

Verify it worked

The customer shows up in the Customers list with their Lead status set to "New".

Troubleshooting

"Email looks invalid" — SunrAI enforces RFC-5322. If the customer's email isn't standard (e.g. plus-aliases), try without the alias or use a different address.

"I created a duplicate" — Open one, click Merge → pick the other. The merge writes are reversible for 24h.
